Pure product is solid and technical product is brown solid. M. P. 68c-70.6c, density d25 1.21, V. P. 2.4 x 1O-5Pa(25c), It is soluble in organic solvents such as toluene, chloroform, acetone, ether, and dichloromcthane. It is stable in acid condition. It can remain good quality for two years at normal temperature.
